The Hall Farm Barns Project
Bespoke timber windows and doors designed and installed throughout a rural Cambridgeshire barn conversion, maximising natural light and framing the surrounding landscape, while meeting PAS24 security standards
Set within an idyllic rural landscape, Hall Farm Barns presented an opportunity to create bespoke joinery that not only complemented the architecture of the barn conversion, but actively enhanced the experience of the space.
We were commissioned to design and install bespoke timber windows and doors throughout the property, with a focus on maintaining the character of the original building while introducing a high level of light and openness. These are qualities that define the best rural barn conversions.
The defining feature of the project is the large central glazed entrance. Designed to sit comfortably within the scale and proportion of the building, it creates a powerful visual connection between interior and countryside, flooding the space with natural light and framing views across the landscape.
All joinery was manufactured in-house at our Haverhill workshop, ensuring a consistent standard of quality and attention to detail across the full project. Careful consideration was given to proportions, sightlines, and finishes, allowing every element to sit naturally within the structure.
The finished result is a balance of traditional barn character and contemporary performance, a home that makes the most of its setting, with natural light and open views at the heart of the design.
