Every bespoke entrance door we make at Precision Carpentry and Joinery begins with a conversation. Whether the property is a listed cottage, a period townhouse, or a contemporary new build, the goal is always the same: to craft a door that feels entirely at home in its setting.

All doors are designed and built using time-honoured mortice and tenon joinery, a method proven for centuries in external hardwood doors. It delivers the structural strength and long-term stability required for exterior use, while allowing for the level of refinement and detail that truly bespoke joinery demands.

Each made-to-measure entrance door is finished to the client's exact specification. We regularly produce doors with different finishes on each face, so the exterior complements the architecture while the interior sits comfortably within a hallway scheme.

Performance is built in from the start. Draught-proofing and high-performance glazing are integrated into every design, ensuring excellent thermal efficiency. All external hardwood entrance doors can be specified to meet PAS24 (2016) enhanced security standards.
